These porcelain mugs are decorated with the designs inspired by prehistoric Mesa Verde Black-on-White pottery.
The Mesa Verde people lived in what is now the four corners area (New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona) and painted their bowls, jars, and mugs with distinctive geometric and animal designs.
