Use a bamboo matcha spoon to scoop just the right amount of matcha!
The Japanese define the scoop (or spoon) as follows: the portion with which tea powder is scooped is called sajikata, or the spoon shape; the tip of scoop is called tsuyu, or dewdrop; and the bottom end is called hasaki, or the blade point. Some scoops come with a bamboo joint, a natural raised area(s) along the length of the scoop, much like a knot in wood.
