Fucus vesiculosus is a type of brown seaweed that grows in the Baltic Sea, Atlantic Ocean, and North Pacific Ocean. An excellent source of iodine. Can be brewed as a bright and brine-y cup of tea! For those averse to the flavor but craving the nutrients, try adding a pinch to a flavored tea. Watermelon and, surprisingly, chocolate flavors harmonize fairly well.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Organic Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus)

Origin:

Canada
