A sophisticated twist to an undeniably sophisticated black tea. Vintage Earl Grey adds the subtleties of rose and lavender to the familiar well-loved tradition of Italian orange bergamot for a smashing afternoon delight. Enjoyed with an intimate circle of friends or in your own personal retreat time, this soothing and lively combination will stir memories of pleasant times well spent.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4-5 minutes.

Other Brewing Options:

Make a "London Fog" without a milk steamer:
1) Use 1.5 teaspoons of Cream Earl Grey and steep for 5 minutes.
2) While the tea is steeping take heavy cream, add in some vanilla extract, sugar, and a touch of boiling water. Shake the cream vigorously (to simulate the steaming process)
3). When the tea is ready, pour the cream mixture in. You even get a nice layer of froth on top!

Most Earl Grey style teas turn my stomach but not this one. Very pleased 10/10 would repurchase.

This earl grey is by far my favorite - I even make the effort to have it shipped to me. It smells like spring time, very floral, and the aftertaste is floral with hints of black tea. No earl grey even comes close to this good for me. Perfection.

The bergamot isn't too strong with this Earl Grey. It makes a lovely iced tea.

I have always loved Earl Grey tea and it is one of my normal go-to tea's. The Vintage Earl Grey blend is a wonderful, well balanced blend. I adore Bergamot, but I can see where it could be overdone as a flavoring, but not with this blend, it is just the right amount and I love the complimentary flavors of Rose Petals and Lavender. Delicious!

This does seem very sophisticated. Very ladies-who-don’t-need-jobs-and-who-do-charity-works-instead. And that isn’t a bad thing. It is a very delicate, high class tea. It reminds me of my grandmother. Totally not like me at all. I’m not a delicate lady. :) The rose is very present, as is the lavender. The bergamot is underneath, but not as strong as the florals, by far. The tea base is somewhat overshadowed by the florals but again, I don’t consider that especially bad.

The tea is quite good. I was in a rush when I made the purchase and I had assumed "vintage" meant a classic Earl Grey, with nothing else. Turns out I was wrong. While this tea wasn't what I had actually intended to purchase, it is quite good. The floral aroma and flavor overtakes the bergamot, such that you might not even know it was there if you just had a cup and didn't know it was Earl Grey. If you like floral aroma in your tea, you will like this for sure.

Earl Grey is one of my favorite teas and I love the addition of lavender and rose with the bergamot! This is one of my choices both for morning and often anytime during the day. Wonderful aroma and taste...love it!
