Uva Ursi Leaf comes from the evergreen ground-covering shrub known by its Latin botanical name of Arctostaphylos uva ursi. The common names for Uva Ursi Leaf include Bearberry (because bears like to eat the red berries), Kinnikinnick and wild cranberry. Traditional and historical uses when brewed have been to treated urinary tract inflammation and kidney ailments.

Tannins in uva ursi can cause upset stomach, nausea, vomiting and constipation.

Not intended for long term (>2 weeks) use.
