Also Known as Holy Basil (Ocimum sanctum), Tulsi is a sacred plant from India used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. Tulsi is considered an "elixir of life" providing alchemy to one's well being.

There are three types of tulsi varietals, each having a distinct flavor: the green leaf (Rama Tulsi), purple leaf (Krishna Tulsi) bears dark green-to-purple leaves and a third, considered the most flavorful and also hardest to grow - wild forest (Vana Tulsi).

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 190°F. Add 2 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 44323 minutes.
