Pumpkin Spice Black Tea is like autumn captured in a cup, taking you on a sensory journey through the quintessential moments of the season. With a medium-bodied black tea as its base, this blend offers a robust yet balanced foundation. Layers of cinnamon, ginger, and cloves imbue each sip with the warm, spicy notes that define fall. The inclusion of pumpkin pieces and pumpkin seeds adds an authentic touch, elevating this tea from a mere seasonal delight to a true celebration of autumn.

Roasted chicory root adds depth and complexity, lending a slight, coffee-like bitterness that perfectly complements the spices. Cardamom rounds out the experience with its unique, aromatic sweetness. This blend is wonderful on its own but becomes a creamy indulgence when paired with honey, milk, or sugar. It's the ideal companion for gatherings around the fireplace, where the air is filled with laughter and the scent of woodsmoke.

Extra Info:

You might be surprised to learn that pumpkins are much more than just the stars of Halloween and pie recipes. Nearly all parts of the pumpkin are edible, from the shell and seeds to the leaves and even the flowers—though they are best when cooked. Rich in beta-carotenes and packed with vitamins A, C, and E, pumpkins have been a staple in the Americas even before the cultivation of maize or corn. So, when you sip on Pumpkin Spice Black Tea, you're not just enjoying a seasonal favorite; you're participating in a longstanding tradition that honors the natural bounty of autumn.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4-5 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Black tea, cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin pieces, pumpkin seeds, roasted chicory root, cardamom, flavoring, and cloves

Reviews:

I never did jump on the pumpkin spice bandwagon for any of my drinks. However, this was included in the Gratitude Collection, and to my surprise, it's really delicious. Good, "real tasting" spice, and delicious with or without sweetener.

Not my favorite. The base isn't strong enough to hold on it's own and ends up doing something weird with the rest of the flavors.

I gave up coffee earlier this year and I was really missing my pumpkin spice fix, this tea really hit the spot. It’s not overpowering but has a delicious creamy, spicy flavor, I like it with a little milk or cream in it. I find myself making multiple pots a day.

Decided to give this a shot and I'm really glad I did. Has a great aroma and tastes slightly buttery in addition to the spice flavor. Good with milk, would probably be good sweetened if that's your thing.
