Compared to Sencha, Bancha has a more robust flavor and vivid yellow color. Additionally, leaves harvested in late summer receive more sunlight and thus contain more Catechin, which has a high antioxidant effect. Due to the second harvest quality of the leaves, the resulting tea is considered more of an affordable everyday tea in Japan that is enjoyed by young and old alike. Bancha

This tea has an incredible raspberry aroma with a sweet green tea (slightly grassy). Because Sencha has a smooth, almost honey-like taste it pairs perfectly with the fruity sweetness of the raspberries. Bohemian Raspberry

If you are missing the maple tree groves of Vermont or Canada, then this is the tea for you. Smells like morning breakfast, tastes like it is fresh off the tree! When brewed in the cup, this tea smells of hot maple syrup but the taste is not overly sweet, just the right amount of spice and flavor to not need any additions. The dried, blended leaves bring out the rich aroma of a toasty cabin during the cold winter holiday season. Maple Oolong

A bizarre and wonderful tea. This aged green puerh tea is made up of extraordinarily large tea leaves that have been gathered into small bundles that resemble traditional brooms, hence the name. It has a marvelous flavor and delivers a light, woodsy aftertaste. We recommend six to eight leaves per cup with multiple steepings. Witch's Broom Raw Pu-erh

A great selection of teas to choose from! Bohemian Raspberry and Peach Apricot Black would both make especially good iced teas. Two common ways to brew iced tea are cold brew and sun tea. To make iced tea with one of these methods, fill a large jar with loose leaf tea and then fill with filtered water. We usually use 1 ounce of tea for every gallon of water. If you like your tea rich, it wouldn’t hurt to add more tea leaves. Then, place the jar inside the refrigerator overnight for cold brew or under direct sunlight for sun tea and allow it to sit. Finally, strain the leaves, serve over ice, and enjoy! Thank you to Brian from @brianccsmith for the photo submission!
