Medium bodied and flavorful. Blended with natural oils of vanilla and grenadine, which impart a smooth and unique heavenly flavor.

Extra Info:

The name grenadine comes from the French word "grenade" meaning pomegranate, as grenadine was originally prepared from pomegranate juice and sugar. Grenadine syrup is commonly used to mix "cherry" Cokes (also called Roy Rogers), and flavor-soaked cherries, making them bright red. Because of this many people mistakingly assume grenadine is made from cherries.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • black tea, calendula petals, sunflower petals, natural grenadine and vanilla flavors.

Origin:

Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula, Uva (Sri Lanka) | Nilgiris (India)

Reviews:

I bought this tea several months ago. It was a bit too flowery for me as a hot tea and it languished in my tea cabinet. I pulled it out recently and cold brewed it for ice tea and it is absolutely delightful, light and refreshing and delicious on a hot summer afternoon.

I have drank this tea and I enjoy it plain both hot or iced.

I'm normally not a fan of fruity tea, but this is pretty good. I'm drinking it with milk and sugar right now. My only complaint is that it's a little weak (brewed 2 tsp in 13oz of water), but increasing the amount of tea/steep time should help that.

This tea is delicious. It's very fruity and, I think, it tastes like candy.

Delicious and yes, heavenly. Lovely on its own; with milk and sugar, exquisite. A favorite.
