There is also slightly less caffeine with this tea than Tie Guan Yin as our Milk Oolong contains some of the stems as well as the leaves.

Extra Info:

Also known as Jin Xuan or Golden Lily. Warning: contains milk essence; not advised for those with lactose intolerance.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 195°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4 minutes.

Other Brewing Options:

I've been searching for a milk oolong amd this just tastes like regular oolong. No difference.

I usually drink black tea but decided to buy this after reading an article on the health benefits of oolong tea. It's a wonderful, smooth, elegant tea.

This is one of the best tea’s I’ve ever had, and it’s certainly the best milk oolong I’ve ever had. The smell is reminiscent of a dark dulce de leche, the flavor is sharp, floral forward at first- you really taste the oolong- then the flavor melts into rich vanilla or sweet cream. It’s astonishing. I’ve bought a bag as presents for everyone I love. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

By far the best tea I have tasted from NMTC. Probably my favorite tea ever. This tea has an excellent high quality Oolong flavor. Additionally, the creamy "milk essence" (whatever that means) make it so incredibly comforting and desirable. Truly the gem of all teas. 13/10.

I really enjoy this tea! I have it in the evening, summer or winter. The flavor and aroma are so relaxing, and the caffien isn't so strong that it keeps me up at night.
