Whether it be a first cup in the morning, or a cup to combat an afternoon slump, this energizing Mate is perfect. Packed with mango pieces and ginseng, it will get you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

Extra Info:

In South America roasted mate, known as "mate cocido" in Paraguay or "chimarrão mate" in Brazil is served sweetened, either hot or iced, with fruit juice or milk. The toasted variety of mate has less of a bitter flavor and more of a spicy fragrance. When shaken it becomes creamy (since the formed foam gets well mixed and lasts for some time), known as mate batido and it is more popular in the coastal cities of Brazil.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 180°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 5 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Roasted Mate, Rooibos, Calendula, Mango Pieces, and Ginseng Root, with Natural and Artificial Flavoring

Reviews:

I agree with the other reviewer. It has a cough drop/medicine like flavor that tastes artificial.

My order was shipped immediately and arrived much more promptly than expected. This mate is so delicious, hot or cold, it may very well change my life and how I view caffeinated beverages.

Wonderful tea, just the right note of mango and other deliciousness. It brews well in my tea maker and it is the kick start to my mornings. Thanks NM Tea Company for blending such a vibrant tea.

This tea is FANTASTIC! The taste is very nice without a overpowering flavor of Mango. Gives a nice jolt first thing in the morning! Also, a second brewing in pot is nice too. Doesn't get bitter and the flavor remains. If you like mango definetely try this tea!

I love fruity teas and the mango in this tea is great! I love the mate teas and have been drinking this with the fire gourd and bombilla. I will definitely purchase again!

I like Mate for when I don't want to drink something as heavy as coffee, but I still want a nice jolt of caffeine. Mango is the primary flavor, but it isn't overwhelming (I'm glad, I don't like super fruity teas). I didn't order a Bombilla, but they are selling the same model that I have, which I love and recommend(its a straw that strains the tea as you drink so you don't have to deal with tea balls or bags).

The complexities of the smells and taste are amazing. You get to experience most of the major ingredients in each sip -- mango, passion fruit, rooibos, and mate. This is fine tea worthy of its name
