Sweet, summer strawberries and papaya pieces balanced with the fresh tasting Chinese green tea make this an ideal tea to soothe away winter blues or chilled for a refreshing summer drink.
This particular tea was named for strawberry farms that still populate Long Island and which were started before the Civil War. Many farms on the island still have the options to pick-your-own food. And despite what the "Fab Four" may have to say about strawberry fields (where nothing is real), rest assured that these strawberries and tea ARE real!
Bring filtered or spring water to 180°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4 minutes.
