Absolutely excellent. Like the Earl gray jasmine monkey king, and really all of the jasmine blended teas at NMTEAco, the jasmine is superb in this tea. I think David or whoever is sourcing the jasmine teas has a very discerning palette. Teas I directly import are not as nuanced as these jasmine teas. Back to this tea, first steep, like stated above, is good; but not the destination. I abuse the first steep with some turbinado and it calms me right down. Second steep needs no abuse, and like some noob friends stated unbelievably when I served them a second steep, "It tastes just like honeysuckle smells!" I think there is some more complexity to it than that, but the second and third steeps are just wonderful. There is a complex and delicate interplay between the jasmine scent you breathe in while you drink this tea and the taste upon your tongue, that can be completely lost if you are not careful about brewing this at 170 and pay attention to your tea measurement. And if you don't mind some light green tea tannin coming through, you will probably like the first steep un-abused as well.
