Reviews:

I tried this tea bc I like maté. I started in the summer making big containers of sun tea and drinking it cold. It's always sweet, never bitter (even if over-steeped), and the taste reminds me of the smell of fresh hay. It keeps you going but you don't get jittery or crash from it, though I agree with the other reviewer that is more of a brain stimulant. Now since it's winter I tried the tea hot and it's awesome plain or w a bit milk and a drop of honey. Full admission: I can't live without it now! New Mexico Tea company ships fast and all the teas I've tried are of the highest quality. You have my business!

This tea is the cousin of Yerba, however, much better. It contains L-theanine which causes no crash or anxiety. The taste is like a sweet leaf and never bitter. I wish there were studies on the health benefits of this tea, I feel this is the next big thing. This tea works as a great nootropic, I can remember names much easier and I sometimes have vivid dreams like my dreams are more clearer. Yerba/coffee tend to be more of a body energizer but after trying many different stimulants, I believe Guayusa is best for brain performance.

Read about this from the blog. This one definitely sparked my interest. After reading how it's consumed by it's origin, I had to give it a shot. I don't regret this tea one bit. It doesn't taste leafy or like green tea. It has it's own unique flavor that's very addictive. (In the good way, not the rehab way).
