Blend of tea leaves and roasted rice. The nutty and bright flavor of this tea makes it an American favorite.
The origin of this tea has many stories. Some say it was used by the poor to extend the rations and life of their tea by thinning it out with toasted rice. Others that it was created by monks to humbly use even the browned rice at the bottom of their pots.
