Reviews:

This is a terrific tea. Some other genmaicha's I have had over the years have been bitter, but this is easy on the palette, with just a hint of sweetness, and is soothing and calming. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with this tea. As said before, it has a fabulous round roasted nutty taste that can only be found in a genmai tea. I love it! The tea leaves are very hard to overbrew because the sweet rice quickly balances out any bitterness from the leaves. I think it's an excellent beginners green tea. Easily brewed in a pot or a bag or a gaiwan, all with excellent results. I disagree that the second brew is as good as the first though. It takes much much longer and isn't as sweet as the first. Lovely tea. Will definitely become a staple

This is the first tea I've tried from New Mexico Tea Company, and let me just say, you've gotten yourself a devotee. This tea is lovely, with a nutty, rounded flavor that tastes like I'd imagine a hug would taste like. Second brew is just as good as the first. This will become a staple.
