This French blend has a bright coppery color and Ooh-la-la floral notes from "creme de la vanille", Jasmine and Lavender, deliciously blended with flavorful Ceylon's, pungent Assam's, and malty Kenya's. Truly a unique and wonderful tea.

Extra Info:

With their innate sense of style and sophistication, the French elevate even the simple act of taking tea to an art form. From the delightful tea salons dotting every Parisian neighborhood to tea served at outdoor cafes nestled in the hills of Provence.

Tea became the fashionable beverage in French society toward the end of the reign of Louis XIV. Members of the upper class would gather to debate issues of the day and drink tea. Princess of Palatine remarked in 1706 that tea could make one chaste and therefore was better for Catholic priests than for Protestant ministers.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Black tea, green tea, rose petals, lavender, jasmine blossoms, cornflower petals, natural flavors.

Reviews:

The rose and jasmine are the florals that stand out in both fragrance and taste in this tea. But it is a subtle and delicate undercurrent. Tea is my drink of choice and I seldom drink anything else so when I discover a new blend to add I love to share and this is definitely one I will be sharing.

I was hoping for a slightly, but no overpoweringly floral tea, which is precisely what this proved to be. Brewed, it is very beautiful, with a fairly crisp finish. The rose and jasmine come up prominently, a great blend all in all

This blend is visually quite pretty, but it also tastes fantastic! I brewed it with the same parameters I would a green and all the flavors came through beautifully. Jasmine, rose, lavender, and then a malty black & a light hint of green at the end. Definitely a blend I'll be dipping into often!

i miss albuquerque and having this tea made me remember the great times i had living there. i absolutely love this blend and to have it mailed to me in my little town on the navajo reservation made my taste buds happy. it is definitely a treat to have fine loose leaf tea to drink on the daily.
