Combines floral and delicately sweet Bao Zhong (Pouchong) oolong with real juicy pineapple and creamy coconut. All the flavors blend together so well, it's almost like the tea is grown next to a coconut grove. (Though it's not!)
Pouchong or "light oolong" is lightly oxidized and has a twisted shape leaf with floral notes. The oxidation is somewhere between green tea and what is usually considered a regular Oolong tea. It is often classified with the oolongs however due to its lack of the sharper green tea flavours. It is produced mainly in Fujian, China
Bring filtered or spring water to 185°F. Add 1.5 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 44259 minutes.
Infuse a tablespoon of leaves in a small pot for just about a minute. The tea is then re-infused and served 2 or 3 more times. Each infusion yields a different liquor and experience from the proceeding cup.
