This tea has an incredible raspberry aroma with a sweet green tea (slightly grassy). Because Sencha has a smooth, almost honey-like taste it pairs perfectly with the fruity sweetness of the raspberries.

Extra Info:

Raspberries have been enjoyed as a delicacy in Bohemia, a region of the Czech Republic, since at least the 900s. One need only drive a little way outside of Prague to find wild bushes lining many of the roadsides that wind their way through the countryside. These sweet little berries were purportedly the favorite of Boleslav I, the first King of Bohemia.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 175°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 2 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Japanese style sencha with raspberry pieces and natural raspberry flavor

Origin:

China

Reviews:

Amazing tea. Lovely hot, but I also cold brew it for iced tea in summer.

First of all, the name is awesome. Second, I bought this tea when I was just a beginner, and I'm glad I did, as raspberries are my favorite fruit.
