A wildly exotic fruity character.

Extra Info:

This tisane was named in honor of the highest waterfall in the world - Angel Falls. This waterfall is located in the tropical jungles of Venezuela and drops over 2000 feet. The volume of water that falls is quite small compared to major waterfalls such as Niagara or Victoria Falls but none can compare to the height. At the bottom of the falls there is a constant drizzle because the water literally turns to mist on account of the fact that the water breaks down into molecules after the dizzying drop.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 7 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Natural dried apple pieces, hibiscus, rosehip, natural dried orange, calendula petals, and natural flavors.

Reviews:

I love everything about this tea. The cheerfully colorful blend, the slight sweetness in the nose, the balance of fruit and acidity in the flavor. A great tea for these late-winter months when it seems like spring is just a little too far away.

In addition to the marvelous fruity aroma and flavor I found a new use for this tea. After I have infused a couple of times I stir the fruity remains into my oatmeal or yogurt. The flavor is no longer strong though the fruit pieces are still firm and a pleasant surprise to bite down on.

I received this tea as a sampler to my order. It is a wonderful, fruity light tasting tea. The aroma from the small package made me curious and want to try it first. Now, I have to order an actual full size because it is delicious. It doesn't need a lot of sugar and the aroma is as good as the tea itself.
