"I began this fruit and vegetable series wanting to make some fun little kitchen paintings. But I was swept away by the color and texture of the produce, coupled with the patterns from my collection of household trays and found fabrics. The paintings took a turn from 'just fun kitchen paintings' to 'anywhere you need a bright spot in your life paintings.' I hope you enjoy them.
